3 questions to learn if your baby's gut is healthy.

So congrats! You did it! You just had a baby. Or you are about to have a baby. Or you are planning on having a baby. Either way, it’s one of the most exciting, stressful, rewarding things you could do and your baby’s health is going to be your number one priority. This includes their gut health. We talk a lot about gut health for adults but not so much with babies even though it is just as important.
When Chase was born, we went to 5-6 pediatricians trying to figure out why he was so sad and clearly in pain. Poor little buddy couldn’t even keep his milk down. We had no idea what was going on. We were new parents and we had no clue how/when/who to ask for help. When one doctor wouldn’t help us, we would find another one. I knew something was wrong I just didn’t know how to treat it. When it comes to my kids I don’t stop. I will seek out and search for any and all information to help them. We ended up taking him to the ER in the middle of the night when it became unbearable for us to watch any longer. They told us that his stomach was shut completely, initially. They did an ultrasound of his esophagus down to his belly to make sure food was going to his stomach. Thankfully, his stomach wasn’t shut, but all the food was just coming back up. All. The. Food. He had GERD and on top of that we found he had allergies galore and severe food sensitivities. Because of all of this his PED strongly urged us to put him on formula.
All of his issues stemmed from his gut. If we had known about anything that would have helped him avoid those problems, we would have done it. Evivo has created a probiotic for your baby that helps protect against issues like obesity, diabetes, colic, and even allergies. Lots of people don’t know much about baby gut health and how important it is, so I have partnered with Evivo to give you all the facts!
From the time that your baby is born to when they are 6 months old, their immune and metabolic development is so so important. Making sure that they have good bacteria in their body helps with this. If there are too many bad bacteria, that’s when those problems like gas fussiness, colic, allergies, asthma, diabetes, and eczema can begin to arise.
Did you know that 9 out of 10 babies born in the US have a low functioning gut microbiome due to the lack of good bacteria needed for a healthy gut? Yeah, it’s that big of an issue. Probiotics are amazing for regulating baby’s bacteria to make sure they stay healthy.
infantis is a good bacteria that helps keep baby’s gut health regulated. Babies used to be born with this bacteria but over time this has stopped. Bad bacteria will take over if this good bacteria is not present. Evivo combines with breastmilk to keep B. infantis in your baby’s system. It takes down the bad bacteria by 80%!!
At the end of the day, you are going to want to make sure that your baby is healthy and happy. If they are having problems with their gut, this will not be the case. It will take a toll on them and on you. We wish we would have known about Evivo when we had Chase and we would have tried it immediately. After all, healthy baby is a happy baby!
